The 2020 European Cup will soon enter the round of 16. So far, 11 teams have made sure they qualify for the next round.
Italy became the first team to qualify for the round of 16. Gli Azzurri appeared convincing after winning nine points from three Group A matches. Wales, which was ranked second, will accompany Italy.
From Group A, Switzerland is also entitled to advance to the next round. Xherdan Shaqiri and his friends entered the list of the four best third-ranked teams.
Turning to Group B, Belgium and Denmark are the two clubs that represent. Denmark escaped from the eye of the needle after crushing Russia 4-1 in the final match.
Meanwhile, the teams representing Group C are the Netherlands and Austria. The Netherlands followed Italy's record of beating all matches in the group stage with a win.
The Czech Republic and English are the two teams that have so far stepped out of Group D. Although both of them haven't finished the last game, they have already qualified. Because England or the Czech Republic will be ranked in the best three if they lose in the match later.
The last two clubs confirmed to qualify for the last 16 so far are Sweden and France. Both teams currently lead the standings after picking up four points.
