The opening match of Group B at the Euro 2020 between Denmark and Finland will be continued on Sunday (13/6) 12.15 IST, having previously been stopped due to a medical emergency involving Danish player Christian Eriksen.

UEFA announced the decision was taken after seeking player approval from both teams.

"Following a request made by the players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland this evening at 20:30 CET."

As the match was stopped near the end of the first half, UEFA decided to play the last four minutes of the first half. Then, the match will be paused for 5 minutes for rest time before continuing with the second half.

The match has been suspended due to a medical emergency involving Denmark's Christian Eriksen. UEFA reports that the Inter Milan player is now in hospital and is in stable condition.
