Euro 2020 - England 2-0 Germany: The Three Lions Keep Going

English successfully advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2020 European Cup after overthrowing Germany with a score of 2-0 in the round of 16 which took place at Wembley, Wednesday (30/6) night IST. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane scored the decisive victory for the Three Lions.

At the beginning of the first half, Germany immediately stepped on the gas by giving a threat in the fourth minute. Unfortunately, Leon Goretzka's hard kick could still be secured by Jordan Pickford.

Another chance to get Germany in the eighth minute. This time, Kai Havertz fired a free shot that was blocked by the British defense.

After a few minutes of pressure, England began to be pressed. Raheem Sterling fired a right-footed shot which was denied by Manuel Neuer.

Before halftime, Timo Werner almost tore the England goal. Unfortunately, his shot was pushed back by Pickford.
